Helping those who need it most - children
Join me in helping make a difference in Escuintla, Guatemala
Our names are Marta and Mark Shram, we are fifteen years old, and we are both passionate about helping those in need, especially children. We have always believed that helping others is essential whenever possible, and we are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children who need it most. That’s why we have committed to providing nutrients to a group of babies and young children in Escuintla, Guatemala.
We are working with the Bountiful Children Foundation, an organization with over ten years of experience providing this important service in many countries. We believe stable nutrition is important for infants and young children to properly grow, develop, and live healthy lives. Unfortunately, obtaining this essential food and water can be a challenge for these families, and that’s where we need your help. Bountiful Children has local trained volunteers who currently look after 60-90 children and their mothers.
Escuintla has been affected by a deadly volcanic eruption from the Fuego volcano several years ago. People of small villages are still recovering and struggling to earn enough money. Mothers and children have to search for volcanic rock in rivers and streams to sell, but with limited resources, families are facing challenges providing the proper nutrition their children need, from babies to kids.
We need your support! Any donation, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated. Together, we can reach our goal of $2,000 to help provide these children in Escuintla with the nutrients they need to grow, develop, and thrive.
