I have been involved with the BOUNTIFUL CHILDREN'S FOUNDATION for the past five years. My colleagues and students at BYU have worked to create health lessons for parents of undernourished children in developing settings. The BCF has consistently focused on helping nourish the potential of children by providing modest nutritional supplements and health education. BCF works closely with local leaders from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to provide health screenings and identify those children in greatest need. It's been a blessing to help train local BCF volunteers in places like Ecuador, Guatemala, Paraguay, Peru, and Mongolia. I have personally participated in dozens of health screenings and seen first-hand the tremendous need for this work. My family has made small and irregular financial donations to BCF in the past and realize now that we can do more. My goal is to raise $6000 before the Easter holiday, which is the cost to support an entire stake for a year. Please consider joining me in this effort to do something, do it more, and do it better.
